It is only a daily driver for a small family. I am looking at either OEM rotors and semi-metallic pads or slotted and drilled rotors with ceramics. Cross drilled rotors are like gigantic cheese graters. Yeah it makes your rotors cool off faster, but they also reduce your pad life and make a hell of a lot of noise. They also have a higher tendency to warp. Slotted rotors help release gases trapped below the pads, basically wiping them clean every pass.
